This paper analyzes the differences in character shapes among the four types in ‘Haepyeon Simkyeong‘, and traces the evolution of identical character forms. Although the four types originated from the same edition, their placement in the text changed during the re-publication process, with some characters either shifting positions or altering their shapes even when located in the same position. The examination revealed instances where identical characters were divided into two, three, or four distinct forms, indicating that the character shapes underwent continuous additions, deletions, and modifications. Among the ten types examined, the most frequent cases were those where the character shapes differed in ‘bixiao(筆削)’, ‘zhongkao(重攷)’, ‘lizheng(釐正)’, and ‘xiangxiao(詳校)’. This was followed by differences between ‘bixiao(筆削)’ and the combined forms of ‘zhongkao(重攷)’, ‘lizheng(釐正)’, and ‘xiangxiao(詳校)’, and finally, differences between ‘bixiao(筆削)’ and ‘zhongkao(重攷)’ versus ‘lizheng(釐 正)’ and ‘xiangxiao(詳校)’. Notably, the character shapes in ‘zhongkao(重攷)’ and ‘lizheng(釐正)’ were often identical, while ‘xiangxiao(詳校)’ frequently showed differences; however, there were also a significant number of unique shapes that appeared only in ‘zhongkao(重攷)’. This ‘xiangxiao(詳校)’ that Sangyago made the most modifications to the content of the original editions.

본고는 해편심경의 字形의 차이를 분석한 후 동일자형의 변화과정을 추적하여 검토한 것이다. 4종은 동일한 판본에서 시작하였으나 복간을 거치면서 글자의 위치 가 바뀌거나 자형이 변한 경우도 있다. 검토 결과 동일한 글자의 자형이 2종, 3종, 4 종으로 나뉘는 경우를 확인하였다. 이를 통해 자형이 지속적으로 추가되고 삭제되는 과정을 거쳤다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 위의 유형에서 筆削·重攷·釐正과 詳 校의 자형이 다른 경우의 사례가 월등히 많았으며, 다음으로는 筆削과 重攷· 釐正·詳校의 자형이 다른 경우와 筆削·重攷와 釐正·詳校의 자형이 다른 경우의 순으로 나타났다. 重攷와 釐正의 자형은 동일하고 詳校만 다른 경우가 많았으나 重攷에서만 나타나는 자형도 상당 수 있었다. 이를 통해 詳校가 기존 판본의 내용을 가장 많이 수정했다는 것을 간접적으로 확인할 수 있었다.
