Directive speech acts is one of the speech acts with a high degree of face threat. Therefore, while most of the studies on directive speech acts are focused on polite expressions that emphasize politeness, and exemplary expressions that can be used in education, the studies on impoliteness expressions have been relatively neglected. In this study, the impoliteness expressions of directive speech acts is not simply a failure of politeness due to pragmatic mistakes, but is a strategy to achieve useful effects such as effective directive delivery and emotional expression by intentionally violating the principle of politeness. The purpose of this study is to consider the types and functions of impoliteness expressions in Chinese- directive speech acts, and to find out the effect of impoliteness expressions on the success of companionship in various conversation beyond ideal communication as the strategy of speech act. And it is concerned the results of this study to be helpful in Chinese directive speech acts education.
