In this study, we briefly looked at the meaning of 'V+wan' and 'V+hao' to exami ne and explain the cognitive process in which the two structures are ultimately un derstood. First, we compared semantic characteristics based on the disappearance o f quantity and appearance of quantity on the basis of the basic meaning of the e nd of certain action.
Moreover, with a conceptual blending theory in cognitive linguistics as the groun d of interpretation, this study analyzed the cognitive process of the production and understanding of 'V+wan' and 'V+hao', centering around of the examples introduce d in the above classification of the types. In general, it was noted that the 'V+wan 1' and 'V+hao_1·2' went through the cognitive process as follows: “Detection of Resul tative Verb Compound → Association mediated by the similarity of causal relations hip → Extraction of the causal relationship → Construction of conceptual influences → connection of the conceptual influences through cross-space mapping → Format ion of a blended space through projection → Emphasis of an emergent structure t hrough a conceptual blending process on the basis of causal relationship → Produ ction and understanding of 'V+wan_1·2' and 'V+hao_1·2'.”

본 논문에서는 ‘V+完’과 ‘V+好’ 구문의 의미특징을 간략히 살피되 궁극적으로 두 구문이 어떠한 인지과정을 거쳐 이해되는지 그 인지과정을 고찰하고 설명하고자 하였다. 먼저 동작 의 완료라는 기본 의미의 전제하에 양의 소실과 출현을 근거로 의미특징을 비교하였는데, ‘V +完’은 양의 소실, ‘V+好’는 양의 획득이 두드러지게 나타났다. 나아가 인지언어학의 개념적 혼성 이론을 해석의 근거로 삼아 유형별 인지과정을 분석하였는데 ‘결과보어 감지→인과관계 를 매개로한 연상 작용→인과관계 추출→입력공간 구축→공간횡단 사상을 통한 입력공간 연 결→투사를 통한 혼성공간 형성→인과관계의 개념적 혼성과정을 통한 발현구조 창조→‘V+完1 /完2/好1/好2’ 구문의 생성과 이해’의 인지과정을 거침을 알 수 있었다. 특히 혼성공간으로 투 사되기 전 ‘完2’는 완성이라는 원형의미에서부터 주어진 양의 달성으로써 양의 소실의 의미가 부가되는 의미 획득의 원형확장이 진행되고, ‘好1’은 원형의미 로부터 추론기제가 작용하여 완 성의 의미만을 나타내는 의미 소실의 원형확장이 이뤄지는 것으로 원형의미와의 인지적 변별 이 가능함을 고찰하였다.
