In this paper, seven poems of ｢Father's birthday(大人生日)｣ written in celebration of his father's birthday among Su-Guo(蘇過)'s poems, well known as the son of Su-Shi(蘇軾), were analyzed, and the figures of Su-Shi(蘇軾) revealed in these poems were examined. As he experiences exile related to political events, Su-Shi(蘇軾) suffers from false rumors that he has become a Taoist hermit. If, as Su-Shi(蘇軾) said, the image of “Taoist hermit” was created to slander him, how can Su-Guo(蘇過) interpret the poem that gave her father an image of Taoist hermit? Su-Guo(蘇過), who delivered the false rumors directly to his father, expresses his father's position in connection with political events by properly transforming the two images of local governor and Taoist hermit, and reveals that he has become a free man, transcending the advantages and disputes of the world, even though he has been exiled from exile due to unfair partisan strife. Now in Su-Guo(蘇過)'s poetry, Su-Shi(蘇軾) is a Taoist hermit who has achieved a high degree of spiritual sublimation, transcending the world full of slander and disputes. It is also found that by obtaining the image of an official who had done good politics before going through a political event, he is recovering his presence which was incapacitated by false rumors.

본고에서는 소식의 계자로 잘 알려진 소과의 시 가운데 부친의 생일을 축하하며 남긴「大人生日」의 시 11수를 분석하고, 이들 시에 드러난 부친 소식의 형상을 살펴보았다. 오대시안 이후 소식은 유배령을 받고 황주에 안치되는데 이 때 도성에는 소식이 ‘신선’이 되어 승천하였다거나, 병으로 세상을 떠났다는 유언비어가 빠른 속도로 번져나간다. 1차 황주 유배 이후 지방관으로 임직하던 소식은 다시금 신법파의 타겟이 되어 혜주와 담주에서 2차 유배를 겪게 되는데, 이 기간에도 소식과 관련된 유언비어는 지속적으로 생성된다. 그런데 혜주·담주에서의 유배기간 동안 부친 소식과 함께 생활했던 소과의 시를 살펴보면 소식에게 신선의 형상과 목민관의 형상을 부여하였음이 발견된다. 소과의 시 속에서 소식은 비방과 시비가 가득한 속세마저도 초월하여 고도의 정신적 승화를 이루어 낸 신선과도 같은 존재이자, 유배를 오기 전에는 善政을 행하였던 목민관의 형상을 획득함으로써 유언비어에 의해 무력화된 존재감을 회복하고 있다. 이러한 일련의 과정은 정치적 사건을 겪으면서 실추되어야 했던 한 개인의 명예를 문학적 형상화의 과정을 통해 다시금 회복하고자 했던 시도였다는 점에서 중요하다 할 것이다.
