The dictionary of Chinese and Korean in Han Xian Wen Xin Yu Pian had been compiled in the civilized period, which was written by Xuan Gonglian in 1913, when King Gaozong issued the edict in order to create the new characters adapt to that time. The words like Chao, Ri, Hua (i.e., Korea, Japan and China) had been specially remarked after some Chinese annotation, in which ‘Chao’ means Chinese characters and words in Korea, ‘Ri’ refers to those generally used by Japanese, ‘Hua’ points to those widely used in China. This paper does main research on investigation to the characteristics of their inherent Chinese characters in Korea with remarking of Chao in this dictionary, among of which the inherent Chinese characters only had 55 with very small number, but those inherent Chinese characters in Korea in other literature including to the dictionary of Chinese and Korean in Han Xian Wen Xin Yu Pian lurked the background of our people’s way of life, nation’s culture of system and the way of thinking, and their using rate is becoming smaller and smaller even some have been ignored or disappeared today. However, the research on the inherent Chinese characters in Korea can still have the high academic culture value, not only revealing the historical process of Chinese characters used in Korea, but also clearing a clue to our history and culture.
